What personal data are processed by the Controller?

Brenor, as the controller of personal data (with regard to running its online store at https: //brenor.pl /) within the meaning of the GDPR, processes, in particular, the following personal data:

Personal data of the customers of the online store (the customer’s first name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, delivery address, country, information about orders placed, date of birth)
Senders of enquiries via contact forms, e-mail and telephone (basic contact details (the sender’s first name, surname, e-mail address) provided by persons in connection with questions sent to the controller)
Subscribers to the Newsletter service (the person’s e-mail address provided when subscribing to the Newsletter)
* - Company data are only treated as personal data in a situation where they allow the identification of the related persons. Data of private and public limited liability companies are not treated as personal data.

In addition to the data described in the paragraph above, Brenor processes data of visitors to the online store at www.brenor.pl for the purposes of behavioural advertising – displaying advertisements to users that are tailored to their preferences (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the legitimate interest pursued by the data controller, i.e. direct marketing – if you consent to the use of cookies). The rules for the processing of your personal data are presented below (in particular, the section explains who has access to them, how long the data are stored and what the grounds for their processing are).

Personal data of the customers of the online store

Purposes of and grounds for data processing Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes (and on the following legitimate grounds):

- The period of storing the online store customer data Personal data of the customers of the online store will be stored until the relevant account is removed from the online store (in the event of its creation) and then for the period required by law (in particular, by the provisions of the Accounting Act). Personal data of customers who make one-off purchases will be stored for the period required by the applicable law (in particular, by the provisions of the Accounting Act).

- Automated decision-making, including profiling In order to perform the activities described above, Brenor uses profiling, i.e. the use of selected personal aspects to analyse that person’s preferences (i.e. in particular, to display advertisements tailored to Users’ preferences and to personalise the newsletters sent on the basis of the User’s behaviour at the online store website). • The provision of personal data in the form of your e-mail address is voluntary but necessary for creating an account.

• The provision of personal data in the form of your first name, surname, address and telephone number is voluntary but necessary for order execution.

• The provision of personal data in the form of your date of birth is voluntary and choosing not to provide it has no negative consequences.

• Giving consents to sending commercial information is voluntary and choosing not to do so has no negative consequences.

Data recipients The data may be made available to entities authorised by law. Access to data under relevant contracts may also be granted to IT infrastructure and service providers processing data on behalf of Brenor.

Retention period The personal data processed by the controller will be stored for the period of electronic correspondence and then for archiving purposes for the period specified in the controller’s office instructions.

General rules for the processing of personal data


Automated decision-making In the processing of personal data, Brenor makes no decisions based on automated processing, except for profiling Users for the purposes of displaying the behavioural advertising described. This process is described in detail in the ‘Cookie information’ section below.

Data processing for the purposes of the exercise or defence of legal claims and keeping statistics Personal data may also be processed by Brenor on the basis of the legitimate interest pursued by the data controller for the purposes of the defence or exercise of legal claims and keeping statistics.

Data transfer outside the EEA Brenor does not intend to transfer personal data to third countries (i.e. countries outside the European Economic Area) or to any international organisations.


What rights do I have in connection with the processing of my personal data by Brenor?

Where relevant, you have the right:

- to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing, as well as to data portability; - to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
